SERVE

By serving others in your church and your community, you help people understand that God loves them and cares about their needs, and that we do as well.
*At Journey Christian, generosity is not something we want from you, it is something we want for you. If you believe in our mission and vision, then please consider partnering with us by being generous with your time, talents, and finances.

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also

GIVE
We believe a top competitor for our devotion to Jesus is money (Matthew 6:24). Giving allows us to demonstrate that God is more important to us than material things.  To tithe means 10% of the first fruits of our income.  When people tithe to God, it is a statement of faith saying, “I believe God will supply all my needs on the other ninety percent”.  We believe you can’t out give God (Proverbs 3:9,10 and Malachi 3:10 – 12). In fact, we strongly believe God will do more with your 90% than you or I could do with 100%.  As Christians are generous with their tithes and offerings (2 Corinthians 9:6) because God has the hearts of those Christians – then there is no organization or group with more potential to change the world than the local church (Ephesians 3:10)!
