Literature and Teaching Ministries

Literature and Teaching Ministries (LATM) now receives monthly support from Journey Christian Church. LATM's mission is to provide Bible-based teaching materials for the nations. In 2003, LATM completed 41 projects in 15 languages. Bro. Phil Casey is Executive Director of LATM. Reflecting on LATM's partnership with missionaries and native church leaders, Casey declared: "The books we help produce are being read and studied and taught all over the world. People are reading the story of Jesus for the first time in their lives in their own language."

Bro. Casey recently recounted the ministry of one of Christ's servants that LATM partners with. His name is Moses Seth, a native of Cambodia. He has planted churches in Cambodia and among Cambodians in Thailand and California. Bro. Seth is well respected by government officials and he receives invitations to speak in many different places. On just one occasion, he spoke to thousands of Cham(Muslim) people who had specifically asked him to come and tell them about Jesus Christ. During a recent nine-day teaching tour in nine Cambodian Provinces, Bro. Seth spoke to 1968 leaders. Three hundred twenty six (326) were baptized into Christ!! Bro. Casey asked, "How many opportunities do you have to team up with someone who is communicating the Gospel in such a vital way, to so many, in a place most of us will never visit?"

• The Christian Life ---- Haitian Creole
• Outline of Bible History ---- Urdu, North India and Pakistan

In addition to our congregational support, there is another way an individual or family can support LATM's ministry. Join the Book-of-the Month Club. For $15.00 per month, you give someone in another land a book that can make all the difference in their life. Each month, Bro. Casey will send you a letter describing that month's book project. There is immense satisfaction in knowing that you are bringing the Good News to another people group.
