Chris & Amy Duncan courageously volunteer their time, talents, home and food in directing the JCC Sr. High Youth Group. They have done, and continue to do, a great service to the church and the community through their tireless work with the youth in Wayne. Thank you Chris & Amy for your dedication!!

WEDNESDAY NIGHT YOUTH GROUP

All youth in grades 9-12 are invited to attend these evenings of study, fellowship and prayer. We meet every Wednesday (even during the summer) from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at JCC Youth Room. Feel free to bring your friends!! We have many youth from around the community who attend...we love to have them.

We are committed to digging into the Bible to find out God's plans. Our studies consist of bible reading using the Bible (DUH) and other great resourses geared toward youth. We also use this evening to plan upcoming events and mission outreaches.

Our time together is focused on fun and fellowship... to build trust and strong friendships that can last a lifetime. In fact, the youth are welcome to drop by our home at any time...even if its not Wednesday.

YOUTH EVENTS

Turning Point - This annual event, held at Nebraska Christian College in Omaha, NE, is for 9th thru 12th graders. Every year a new theme will challenge the youth to reach greater heights in their spiritual lives. Speakers come from around the country to provide powerful lessons which are both fun and thought provoking. The outstanding worship music has included many nationally known Christian music artists. Turning Point is a great opportunity to have tons of fun with other teens who love Christ. Not to mention, it gets you away from home for a night!! This overnight event takes place the first Friday/Saturday of November each year.

Mission Trip - Each summer, the Sr. High Youth venture out of their comfort zone and become the hands and feet of Christ. Past mission trips have been to the Crow Creek Indian Reservation in South Dakota and the "Know Sweat" program in Joplin, Missouri. This annual trip offers our youth the opportunity to give back to those who are less fortunate and share the love of Christ. The kids look forward to the trip every year.
